SOCIAL PETANQUE COMPETITION

Due to the predicted very hot weather on Sunday, we have decided to postpone this event, and will look at rescheduling for February.

Pétanque is one of only a few truly inclusive outdoor games, allowing people of all ages and all degrees of mobility to play together in a game that can be a simple recreation, or an international World Cup standard event. It also just happens to be one of the fastest growing participant sports in the world.

WINE SENSORY INDULGENCE TOUR

Available from Thursday to Monday  at 11.00 am

Our Wine Sensory Garden is truly unique being the only one of it’s kind in Australia, and a guided tour with Cathy, the winemaker, through the garden with a tasting of our wines is a sensory, wine tasting and gardening experience not to be missed.

Our Pick & Sip Tour includes a guided tasting through the Garden picking and tasting herbs and fruits, along with tasting 4 wines during the tour. Cathy, and possibly also Polly the Wine Dog, will be your host(s) for the hour long sensory experience.

Our Wine Sensory Garden has featured in Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine, Australian Country, and Country Style.

Tours are available to book all year round. You do need to book at least one day in advance, and also allow 1 hour for the tour. Bookings for the Pick & Sip Tour are made through the Your Margaret River Tourism website.

We take bookings for groups from 1 up to 25 people. The cost per person is $25 which includes the guided tour with Cathy, a tasting of four of the Whicher Ridge Single Vineyard Wines in the garden, and a set of tasting notes to take home with food pairing suggestions.
