"A bracing slightly austere style of sauvignon blanc that I like for its structure and finesse. Has a creamy, nutty nuance on the nose which carries through to the tightly packed palate. Some tropical fruit character works into the palate which has good sustained length thanks to the zippy acidity. On the nose a little grassy herbaceous lift provides further interest. Score 89/100"
"In boardrooms around the country, strategies are being devised to counter the growing menace that is Kiwi sauvignon blanc ... just which grape is big and tough enough to take on the heavyweight? .... "
"It has the mix of cool-climate, spicy, peppery notes and ripe, warm, curranty oomph just about perfect, ... the flavours, though, are beautiful (While lightish), and we'd be delighted if it found a fan base"
