The World is described as the most luxurious ship afloat, and has been circumnavigating the globe since 2002. The World leaves Fremantle on the 2nd January, and sails north to Geraldton, then onto Broome, before leaving Australia for Bali, then Singapore and Malaysia.
In one of it's brochures, The World states that "Our 5000 bottle cellar reflects how seriously we take the wine list onboard and, travelling the world as we do, we delight in discovering hard-to-find additions from local vintners. Our sommeliers love to share their in-depth knowledge and expertise about our collection; from hidden gems to world famous classics, from table wines to the finest vintners."
