At the core of our Whicher Ridge brand is our belief and conviction that the best wines are made from grapes grown in a combination of soil, aspect, and climate, that best suits that variety. There are grape growing regions around Australia that are better suited to growing certain grape varieties in preference to others.

We passionately believe in making wines that come from somewhere, rather than wines that could come from anywhere. Each of our wines has a unique story to tell about the vineyard where it's from, the soil and microclimate that it grows in. This gives each of our wines, it's own personality.

We make distinctive, single vineyard, single variety, single region wines that are a true expression of where they are from.

In essence the Whicher Ridge wines are an expression of place, where the wines are from, the soil and the climate that they have grown in, and an extension of our own winemaking aims and beliefs.
