Our Wine Sensory Garden has featured recently in Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine, Australian Country, and is soon to be featured in the June 2017 edition of Country Style.

Tours are available to book all year round, but please be mindful that inclement weather during the Winter months from June to August may result in your Tour being postponed due to windy wet conditions.

You need to book at least one day in advance, and allow 1 hour for the tour.

We take bookings for groups from 1 up to 25 people. The cost per tour is $25 for groups from 1 to 25 people which includes the guided tour with Cathy and a tasting of the Whicher Ridge Wines in the garden.

A DAY WITH A PIG, DIRT & BALLS

SOCIAL PETANQUE COMPETITION

 SUNDAY 4th FEBRUARY 2018

Whicher Ridge Wines, CHAPMAN HILL, BUSSELTON

It’s on again! Time to have some fun! Our popular social petanque competition, A Day with A Pig Dirt & Balls is back! So why not join us for a fun, relaxed day playing France’s national sport and favourite past time – Petanque.

It is a triples competition with 5 rounds of games, with the day starting at 9.00am and finishing around 3.00pm. Don’t despair if you don’t have enough friends or family to make up a full team of 3 as we can place you in a team, not a problem at all!

Registration costs $5 per player. We have plenty of wine (Of course !) as well as other cold beverages for sale on the day at very reasonable prices, and we have lots of spare boules sets available for people to borrow if you don’t have your own. So, all you have to bring is a LOUD, crazy design of a shirt to wear and your food for the day.

So why not come along have some fun and learn about this game which has it’s origins in a small town near Marseilles in the Provence region in the South West of France.

Pétanque is one of only a few truly inclusive outdoor games, allowing people of all ages and all degrees of mobility to play together in a game that can be a simple recreation, or an international World Cup standard event. It also just happens to be one of the fastest growing participant sports in the world.

For more information contact Cathy or Neil Howard at Whicher Ridge Wines on 97531394 or 0418 350 765, or by email at wine@whicherridge.com.au.
